Why work for us?

If you’re looking for a varied, challenging, yet highly rewarding job, then Barnet CCG is the place for you.

Barnet is home to around 370,000 residents. Its population is expected to expand by 50,308 before 2030, an increase of nearly 14%. Its current population includes a high proportion of people aged over 65 – higher than London’s overall – and the number of people aged 85 and over is projected to increase by 67% by 2030.

Barnet’s rising population will place pressure on all health and social care services, with a number of implications for health and wellbeing. Key issues include:

  • obesity and the related conditions for adults, children and young people
  • mental health and learning disability
  • long-term conditions
  • integrated care
  • primary care development
  • diabetes mellitus
  • respiratory conditions.

As a member of Barnet CCG’s team not only will you be helping to make a difference to the lives of our residents, you’ll be part of an organisation that will encourage you to build on your strengths and maximise your potential.
